THE ACCOUNTABILITY TRACKER
Every report needs a receipt—and a next step.
MSJ Connect links the resident experience to a staff follow-up queue, a secure case timeline and a resident-confirmed outcome.
THE DOUBLE RECEIPT
Keep the official reference and the accountability reference.
A municipal reference records the matter with the relevant authority. An MSJ reference records the accountability and follow-up activity in MSJ Connect.
FROM REPORT TO RESPONSE
A clear, auditable process.
- 01
Report
The resident records the issue, location, description and optional evidence.
- 02
Reference
MSJ Connect issues a unique case number and creates the accountability timeline.
- 03
Assign and follow up
Authorised staff see due and overdue work, record actions and schedule the next step.
- 04
Report back
Updates and messages are attached to the same secure case record.
- 05
Confirm the outcome
The resident can say whether the issue is fixed, partly fixed, not fixed or has returned.
IMPORTANT BOUNDARIES
Clear records. Honest expectations.
An MSJ reference is not a municipal reference. It confirms the report exists in MSJ Connect.
A follow-up date is an accountability reminder. It is not a promise that an authority will resolve the issue by that date.
Reporting is separate from membership. A service report never enrols a resident as an MSJ member or grants political-marketing consent.
Urgent emergencies need the appropriate authority. MSJ Connect does not replace emergency services.
